Dr. Francis X. Amato is a unique kind of dentist. With his fun personality, he gets people excited about their dental care, and then teaches them to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Dr. Amato went back to school in 1998 and later obtained a bachelor's degree from Delta State University. He then went on to the prestigious University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, where he earned his doctorate, graduating in 2004, after earning numerous awards.
Dr. Amato stays abreast of the latest technology and dental care with memberships in the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Amato won several awards for his cosmetic dentistry with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry while still in dental school. Dr. Amato is also a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Amato is also a Master with ICOI, the esteemed International Congress of Oral Implantologists, having previously earned his Fellowship with ICOI, and is also a Surgical Fellow with the acclaimed Misch International Implant Institute. To attain his Mastership and his Fellowships, Dr. Amato completed over 130 hours of surgical training and hundreds of hours of study. Additionally, Dr. Amato completed hundreds of successful implant procedures on the patients in his practice. Dr. Amato will be willing to answer any questions you may have about his implant training for his Mastership and Fellowships.
Married for over twenty-nine years to his high-school sweetheart, Dr. Amato and his beautiful wife, Gena, are blessed to have three gorgeous and precious children, Madelaine, Lillian and Abigail, whom you may often see visiting the office. Outside of dentistry, Dr. & Mrs. Amato focus on raising their young family and being involved in their community--they are truly proud to make their home in the High Country.
